The Bering Sea region of Alaska hosts an interesting assortment of North American and Asian breeding birds. Birds converge on the area each summer from wintering grounds that include Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands, and all of the Americas.
I based myself in Nome, Alaska in June of 2007 and 2009 to photograph the diversity of bird life there.
